If you suffer from allergies, especially hay-fever, this is a nifty little App that offers a lot of static information, advice, as well as forecast information.
The forecast information is limited to Switzerland and is limited to the three main national languages (German, French, Italian).
Now for the ACIDS test:
Aesthetics
The App starts with overview information on pollen monitoring stations, as well as detailed information on pollen forecasts, individual monitoring station forecasts for the start and duration for individual pollens, weather forecast, specific allergenic plants and there incidence on allergic reactions, as well as the ability to freely subscribe to a very useful newsletter.
The 'Guide' screen gives you detailed access to a lot of information on pollen (allergy, who suffers, diagnostic and treatment, and the all-important linked reactions). It also enables you to order free brochures. If you abroad it suggests you download brochures from their site (although there's no reason you couldn't do this in Switzerland and be a bit more environment-friendly.
The other screens are for donations, a link to the sponsors and settings (language and legal notices).
Cost
The App is free and supported by advertising sponsorship, as well as giving the opportunity to donate between CHF 5 and CHF 95 to the Fondation aha!, a Swiss foundation that researches and helps allergy sufferers. This is not connected to the AHA Foundation for the defence of women's rights.
